Singapore Folk Handicrafts

Made up of Chinese, Malay, Indian and other ethnicities, Singapore is one of the few countries in the world where citizens of different races can co-exist in one congenial space harmoniously, with each racial group given the space to practice their culture. This is what makes Singapore special, allowing the city state to thrive and shine even as a “little red dot”.

Through offering booths and workshops relating to the folk handicrafts of the Chinese, Malay and Indian, we hope that participants can deepen their understanding of traditions, practices and beliefs of each racial group in an engaging way.
